Christina Aguilera brushes off Lady Gaga copycat insinuations

Christina Aguilera has brushed off accusations from Akon that she's copying the look and sound of Lady Gaga, insisting she's not worried about the criticism.
The R&B singer, who takes credit for discovering Gaga after he signed her to his KonLive label at Interscope Records in 2007, has slated Aguilera for "trying to do the exact same thing musically" as the "Poker Face" hit maker on her upcoming album "Bionic."
But Aguilera has spoken out about the comparisons, insisting she doesn't have to prove herself.
She tells the Bert Show on Q100 in Atlanta, "It just comes with the territory. That, in particular, is not even worth wasting the breath to comment on. I've been around for over a decade and I think my work speaks for myself."
